WAR OF THE WORLDS

As humanity faces these challenging times around the planet.

The battle of two worlds rises to its peak, conservative ideology vs Progressive. Even though we have come so far as a species with outstanding technology and forward social movements such as the “Me too movement", there’s still high percentage of the world’s population in the 21 century that still deny Science and the revolutionary contributions it has made through out history. Climate change, the anti vaccine movement and the rise of flat earth believers are just a few examples of a broken educational system. Begs to ask the questions, why has our educational system failed to these levels of ignorance?

As our technology moves us forward and our failed educational system shows no substantial change. The war of two worlds is clear one with more reasons to preserve conservative values v.s another one with more reasons to evolve with a progressive mentality. With an educational system that keeps students away of really enjoying the experience of learning makes is it impossible to ever conceive a scientifically literate civilization . As result a dived species grows with higher challenges that can only be resolved through education and with a common ground. Politics will not be able to unite nations in this crucial time but facts and scientific evidence will. Building a strong civilization right now is vital to adapt to this so called "new normal" and maybe repair the damage done.

However, with a failed educational system that seems to kill all motivation to keep learning. The perfect scenario is set for information to be manipulated and ignorance to prevail. On account to current events with the world wide COVID -19 virus outbreak misinformation, conspiracy theories and misleading news has caused more paranoia than rational understanding of what we’re really up against.

As the number of cases and deaths rises around the planet. Is time to revalue

what brings us together and learn from past generations to not make the same mistakes. Guide ourselves with empirical evidence and facts to embrace this new reality. Which will need a new perspective to survive new health and environmental challenges.

to evidence and accept reality as it is.

This new normal will come with a new set of rules and challenges. 

We most adapt and let scientist lead the way. At the end of it all, it will not matter how prosperous our economy is tomorrow but how many lives are saved. Let's embrace this new challenge with rational thought and with a scientific approach. Less fear and more logic .
