Brian wrote this book with such a Passion and Wonder, that it left me speechless. His poetic style of describing things is less like a Scientist but more like an Explorer or a Philosopher. It highlights the simplicity & symmetry of Nature better than any book I know of"

This book is a hidden masterpiece, not many people know about it Yet its one of the only science that can give you the experience of both poetry and a science book. I can never get tired of it. I think even 10 years later I would finish a whole chapter of this without feeling like 'I know it already'.

Before I go into the details, You should know, even if you're not particularly passionate about Science or you're not 'Into Science' that much, You Must read it. Because it also covers some of the parallels between Science and Arts, Literature, Poetry & Philosophy. It emphasize very much on the Beauty and Simplicity of Nature and How to we can understand it. And if you think that this book hasn't done the Job then there's another option for you by the same writer, that is "The Human Universe by Brian Cox".

The book is divided into four Chapters, the first Chapter deals with the underlying symmetry of Nature. How simple Questions can lead to explanations that could end up solving one of the greatest quests of the Universe. And how Wonder and admiration and Curiosity can be one of the most crucial parts of Science or the quests of all Humanity.

Second part focuses more on Einstein's Special theory of Relativity, don't worry it won't be a bunch of explanation about how the theory works, it will be unlike any explanation or class you have ever attended on Relativity. Or even if you hasn't, you will understand it quicker than you think. And also blown up by the analogies used.

Third part is more about 'What is all Matter and Energy in the Universe made of ?' or 'How did it all come to be?' Believe me you would enjoy it. It also Questions on the beginning of all life on the Earth & in the Universe.

The final part is about the Earth at large, and everything that we can see on it in the form of light. Each part seems more beautiful than the other.

Finally I would say that this book mean a lot to me, I read it two years ago and it still resonates in my heart. If I Rank every book that I ever read, this book would be the best one (until now). I would rate it 4.9 Out of 5.
